Let's face it, people go to this property to gamble and although many people say it, the winning is rare. I have asked when they might be more than 60% operational and they just laughed. Basically, there is a snack bar and that's about it. There is main dinner style restaurant is closed. There is no pool and due to serious staffing issues (which they seem completely unable to solve) the few amenities are closed. I am not sure why they append 'resort' to their name as in my opinion it does not qualify for this adjective. I would compare this room with what you might expect at Hyatt Place or Fairfield. The bed was pretty comfortable but no memory foam mattress. The room had a separate living room and a bedroom with a tub (with a shower and a standalone shower. We recently stayed at the North Star Mohican Resort and Casino in Bowler WI and were fortunate to receive the Suite with a kitchenette.
